Together with a large pension provider we have developed a program (called OverMorgen) to activate intrapreneurs to generate and develop innovative business solutions for the organisation. The main goal of the program was to develop business concepts around different challenges. We were looking for smart ideas in the field of 1) inspired and motivated employees 2) sustainable financial services 3) and sustainable operations.
The minds and entrepreneurial spirit of employees are a very valuable source to scout, generate and to make innovative solutions for a future-proof organisation happen. In order to make use of this great potential and to develop solutions that matter, we asked employees to share their innovative ideas on a platform (online and offline) where they can enrich and further develop them.
During a 6 month program we inspired employees around the topic of sustainable innovation and challenged them to come up with smart business ideas which could solve some of their current challenges. After an idea generation phase the 10 most promising concepts took part in an incompany bootcamp to bring the idea to a feasible business concept- and case. During a final demo day the best concepts where selected.
The winning ideas will be further developed and brought into practice. The business concepts are selected based on their impact (social and environmental), their business case, feasibility, and innovativeness.
