There is a lot of human activity in our oceans, but every now and then this activity brings negative side-effects. Many organizations, NGO’s and entrepreneurs are working on solutions to detect, clean and manufacture solutions for a more sustainable use of our oceans. We see a need to bring current initiatives together and by doing so boost their realization and/ or to scale their impact. Therefore we co-founded with Heerema Marine Contractors the Our Oceans Challenge Foundation.
Sustainable use of our oceans – we consider it an opportunity to develop sustainable business propositions. The OOC platform offers the ability to turn an idea for clean and healthy oceans into a successful business. Through collaboration between idea owners, the offshore industry and numerous experts, this platform takes, in colleboration with the idea owner, idea’s to the next level so we can start sustainable solutions for the industry together. Watch introduction video. How can we use our oceans as a resource for scalable sustainable business?
