Together with Smart Shopping the Hague and stichting Binnenstad we have designed the Smart Hospitality Challenge for entrepreneurs to develop new service concepts for a hospitality centre in the city centre of The Hague.
The city of The Hague would like to be known for its welcoming experience for guests and residents. Therefore Smart Shopping The Hague and Stichting Binnenstad took the initiative to start the Smart Hospitality Challenge. A select group of entrepreneurs, creative minds and enthusiastic stakeholders were invited to come up with new ideas for a welcoming experience and a hospitable city centre.
More than 16 people worked together in teams for 7 weeks during 4 bootcamps on at least 7 service concepts for a hospitality centre in the city centre of The Hague.
On July 6 the service concepts will be presented during the Demo Day in Collectiv. pop-up store in The Hague. The Jury consists of Boudewijn Revis (wethouder Binnenstad, Stadsontwikkeling Kerngebieden en Buitenruimte Den Haag), Karoline Wiegerink (Lector Hospitality Hotelschool The Hague), Eline Broere (blogger Den Haag To Go) and Mieke Groenewegen (directeur particulieren Rabobank). The most promising service concepts will be selected and supported to run a pilot the upcoming months.
